CAR REGAS STEPS
Prior to making your booking here is the steps and what's involved of an air conditioning regas

1.Vehicle selection & connection
-
Vehicle Selection: Use the touchscreen or keypad to select the exact vehicle from the machine’s Vehicle Database. This automatically sets the correct gas type (e.g., R134a or R1234yf) and the precise refrigerant and oil quantities.
-
Connection: Connect the service hoses to the vehicle's A/C service ports (red for high side, blue for low side) and open the valves on the couplers

4. Leak Detection
-
Once the vacuum is established, the machine closes the valves and monitors the system pressure.
-
If the pressure rises, it indicates a leak and the machine will halt the process until the leak is fixed

2. Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling
-
The machine safely draws out any existing refrigerant from the vehicle’s system.
-
It separates the old compressor oil from the refrigerant, weighs the recovered gas, and stores it in the internal tank

5. Oil and UV Dye Injection
-
The unit injects the precise amount of new compressor oil and/or UV tracer dye that was specified during the vehicle selection phase.
-
Note: For hybrid or electric vehicles, the machine will prompt for specialized, non-conductive oil.

3. Residual Pressure Test & Vacuum Phase
-
The machine checks for residual pressure to ensure the system is sealed.
-
It then runs a vacuum pump to extract air and moisture from the A/C lines, typically lasting 15 to 30 minutes depending on the vehicle

6. Refrigerant Charge
The machine precisely weighs and charges the vehicle’s system with the required amount of new refrigerant, we then check the systems pressures with the car running in insure theres no other problems and its running correctly, we then finalise and report any notes on the customers invoice.
